The end of January gave us some cooler night-time temperatures.  The last week, 6 out of 7 days, we’ve had lows in the 40’s.  The colder weather has “dinged” the turf and given a brown tinge to the course.  Turfgrass growth is limited right now until night-time temperatures get back into the 60’s.  The positive has been increased green speeds because of slow growth.  The downside will be divot, cart traffic and ball mark recovery on course.  Please take extra precautions to cart traffic patterns (use cart path as much as possible).

We will be cleaning up the landscape bed to 18 exit towards bridge this week.   We will add irrigation to encourage plant growth and screen our maintenance area from cart path.
