We use the Toro hydroject to “vent” greens. This is a type of aerification, but machine doesn’t pull cores. The hydroject uses water from our irrigation system and blasts a hole in soil profile and rolls over green. The hole spacing is 1 inch centers. It will take us 24 man hours to do all 18 greens.
The benefits: 1. air to root zone 2. Water movement 3. Compaction relief 4. Relieves dry areas.
