Civitas application reduced our dollar spot. It is an ecofriendly product that is miner oils and a pigment. 1st application was this week. We are doing a trial for the company.
.1 inch Friday causing disease in fairways with excess moisture on leaf blade
Pruned 5 green shade
Palm tree shade 5 green
2 pm and still shade on 5 green from palms
.30 rain no restrictions.
Did wake up to a lot of disease on fairways. Started treating today. Foggy and rainy weather equal outbreak.
14 fairway has more disease than I’ve ever seen. Treating this morning.
Taking greens moisture
The field scout moisture meter. It measures volumetric water content of soil. 6 green has
a vmc of 26.1 which is good moisture. We will not water tonight. When vmc gets in low teens it is time to water. Much better than soil probe
